Biography
Jung Yoon-suk (born on July 28, 1981 ) is a visual artist and filmmaker. Jung won the BIFF Mecenat Award at BIFF, NETPAC at the Berlinale 2014, and New Vision at SITGES 2014 for his first feature documentary, Non-fiction Diary (2013). His second feature, Bamseom Pirates Seoul Inferno (2016), was invited to Rotterdam and won the Wildflower Film Awards Grand Prize, the Muju Film Festival Grand Prize, and the Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival′s New Asian Currents Special Prize. He also won the Artist of the Year at the 2020 National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art. His third feature documentary, Lash, was released in 2022.
