
Biography
Brad Gover makes dramatic films, documentaries, and interactive media. The Care Package (2006), his first fictional short film, played to sold out audiences at prominent film festivals across Canada. His producing credits include the NFB interactive documentary about restaurant dishwashers entitled Bubble Dancers (2014), as well as The Needle and the Damage Undone (2012), a CBC television documentary that explores the impact harm reduction has on the lives of people who use injection drugs. He then directed the follow-up to that documentary, entitled Sister Morphine (2014), about Newfoundland nurses who struggle with addiction to the drugs they administer on a daily basis. Brad most recently produced two feature films, Away from Everywhere (2016), starring Shawn Doyle, Joanne Kelly and Jason Priestley, and Riverhead (2016), about a blood-feud between two families that divides a small Newfoundland outport community.
