Biography

Marek Beneš (1960), Czech screenwriter and director, graduated from the Czech Technical University in Prague. As a filmmaker, he introduced himself to the realization of educational programs, later he began to deal with the animation of serial films with the stories of Pat and Mata for Krátký film Praha and subsequently for a private studio. He worked briefly in cable TV. He returned to animated work within his own studio Patmat s. r.
