Biography
Nick Maloney (born 4th June 1953 in Liverpool) played two parts in Coronation Street: in July 1983 he appeared as Dave Hinchcliffe who accompanied a Russian trade delegation to Baldwin's Casuals and returned to the programme in May 1998 as PC Simons who had an altercation with a drunk Les Battersby. He also appeared twice in the spin-off The Brothers McGregor in 1987 and 1988 as Reg Twillet. Aside from these roles, he also appeared in Boys from the Blackstuff, Terry and June, Brookside, Bread, Boon, The Detectives, One Foot in the Grave (twice) and EastEnders. On stage he appeared in the Willy Russell plays Stags and Hens and Having a Ball. He works as a website developer in addition to his acting roles.
