Biography

Goran Stolevski is an Australian film director and screenwriter of Macedonian origin. He was born and grew up in North Macedonia before migrating to Australia as a teenager. He studied Creative Arts for a bachelor's at the University of Melbourne and pursued Masters in Film and Television at the Victorian College of the Arts. He made his debut as a director in 2007 with the short film Ambassador. In 2022, he directed his first feature-length film, "You Won't Be Alone," which premiered at the 2022 Sundance Film Festival.
