Desmond Chiam is an Australian actor who is best known for playing Wyatt Cole on the television series “Reef Break” and for playing General Riga on the television series “The Shannara Chronicles. ” Chiam was born in Melbourne, Australia, and he went on to earn his law degree from the University of Melbourne and his master’s degree in screenwriting from the University of Southern California. Chiam originally pursued a career in law but was unhappy with his career and decided to pursue a career in acting and dancing. From there, Chiam began acting in various short films before making his television debut in an episode of “Neighbours. ” Since then, his television credits have gone on to include “Better Man,” “Offspring,” “Bones,” “NCIS: Los Angeles,” “Hawaii Five-0,” and he has played Jethro on “Now Apocalypse” and Dovich on the Disney+ original series “The Falcon and the Winter Solider.
