Biography

Sil Iizuka is an Asian-Latina actress most known for her role as Bia in Brazil's internationally acclaimed soap opera, 'Chiquititas', now available on Netflix Brazil. Born in São Paulo to a Japanese father and a Brazilian mother, Iizuka (previously known as Silmara Volpi) started her career performing in church productions later graduating from the Ewerton de Castro Acting School. She holds a diploma in Social Communication obtained from Casper Libero College. Iizuka made her acting debut in 2011 starring in 'Aguasala'. Following a series of award-winning projects, her performance on HBO's Telly-Award-Winning 'O Negócio' and 'Opala Azul Negão' in 2016 and 'Os Parças' in 2017 marked her as one of the most versatile and promising Brazilian actors.
