Biography

David Pursley (July 13, 1938 - January 8, 2000) was an American actor, production designer, and director, primarily active in theater. Pursley appeared on Broadway in Anna Karenina, Anything Goes, The Threepenny Opera, Happy End, and toured in Pippin. He directed and/or designed more than 60 productions for theatres in the U. S. and abroad, and guest-directed at theatres in Turkey and New Zealand.
