Biography

Carin Filipčić (born 26 December, 1970) is an Austrian musical actress. With a musical education in Vienna and Prague, the native Viennese gained a foothold on international opera and theatre stages. She also spent years working with Roma ethnic music and gained experience in cabaret and as a voice coach. She was an understudy in the premiere of the musical Mozart! , and was featured in a number of German-language productions of popular musicals, including Jesus Christ Superstar, Les Misérables, Sweeney Todd, and Chicago.
