Rosario Brucato is an Italian film director, screenwriter, editor, and producer, born on November 23, 1983, in Nicosia, Italy. He developed a deep passion for cinema during childhood, particularly inspired by the suspenseful works of Alfred Hitchcock. He studied Arts, Music, and Performing Arts, completing his thesis on Hitchcock’s filmography. He later specialized in Performing Arts and Multimedia Production Sciences, focusing his final thesis on the reinterpretation of noir elements in the films of the Coen brothers. In 2016, he made his directorial debut with the zero-budget short film Don’t Open That Chat.
