Biography
Kaz Mose is a filmmaker whose early career was shaped by the political and personal constraints of working in Iran, where he developed an underground approach to cinema. After relocating from Tehran to Brussels, he closed that chapter of his life and began a new phase of creative work in Europe. During his first year in Brussels, through collaborations with friends and former schoolmates, Mose wrote his first feature-length film. Working without a production budget, the team launched the project on the basis of a collective agreement, committing to share all future profits equally among its members. This collaborative spirit led to the formation of the Interzone Cinema Group and the production of The Divinity of a City (2023/24).
