Biography

Haekal Muthahari (Haekal Abrar Muthahari Hasyim) is an Indonesian filmmaker based in Jakarta, specializing in film and video directing and coloring. He is currently studying Film & Animation at Universitas Multimedia Nusantara. Haekal began his career as a 3D animator and offline editor before shifting focus to color grading. His works have been screened at both national and international film festivals, as well as on OTT platforms. In 2023 he founded Roll16 Films, a platform for his directing works and films with academic research.
