Biography

Baruc Tort (also known online as Varootski) is a Puerto Rican filmmaker, animator, and actor. He is the co-founder of the production company Guineo Video, under which he produces and show-runs the web-series "Biombo" (2025) with his creative partner (creator) Monky Boy. He wears many hats such as: producer, director, writer, animator, actor, and much more. Baruc started acting and making art when he was very young, and later discovered his love for film at 13 through an intensive film camp. He animated his first original short "Now" traditionally on pen and paper with index cards; he also wrote, voiced, and composed the score.
