Julieta Bazán is a filmmaker based in Tijuana, México. Growing up in a border city has profoundly shaped her identity and perspective. She began her transition at 17—a journey that was both challenging and empowering. This experience continues to inspire her work as a filmmaker, driving her to create stories that resonate deeply and amplify the voices of those often left unheard.
