Biography

Sofia Baquedano is a filmmaker born in Brazil. She graduated in Communications and Film from FAAP (Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado) in São Paulo, Brazil and holds a Filmmaking certificate from NYFA (New York Film Academy). She has worked as a screenwriter and director for three short films: “Self-Care”, “Coffee with Milk”, and “Mischief”, the latter in post-production. Her films have been screened at many festivals, with “Coffee with Milk” winning an award for cinematography. As well as writing and directing, Sofia has worked as a producer and editor for two short films.
