Germany: Wernigerode - Drei Annen Hohne - Nordhausen - Gernrode - Alexisbad - Brocken

One of the longest narrow-gauge lines in Europe, drawn by steam locomotives, is the Harz Schmalspurbahn. Written almost to death in the GDR time and replaced by buses, the railway line could be saved and driven by steam locomotives on a daily basis.
