Sameer and Naina are overjoyed about their engagement and are in a dilemma about choosing the engagement ring. Meanwhile, Rakesh and Taiji are displeased with the engagement. Rakesh lashes out at Sameer's mother while choosing the venue for the engagement. This leads to differences between the two families.
